There are several possibilities in model railways that make the hobby appealing to many people, however, it can also be intimidating for newcomers to the hobby.  This workshop will explore the many possibilities in modelling European, North American and Asian railroads.

Many European and Asian railways use overhead power or Catenary. This workshop will discuss the fundamentals of Catenary planning and list several options and methods to installing functional or scenic catenary.

Presentation of the VIA Rail trip to the winner Bob by MMRF President Ed Molenkamp, following the Greater Edmonton Train show.  VIA Rail donated the trip and MMRF held the draw for visitors to the train show.  And, the Kids Train Set winners!
