Welcome to the Mainline Model Railroaders Fellowship

The Mainline Model Railroaders Fellowship (MMRF) is a community of model railroad enthusiasts based in Edmonton, Alberta. We bring together hobbyists from clubs and layouts across the region — from beginners just discovering the hobby to seasoned veterans with decades of experience. Whatever your scale, whatever your skill level, you'll find a home here.

A Fellowship of Clubs

Our members aren't just individuals — they come from model railroad clubs throughout the Edmonton region, making the MMRF a true fellowship that connects the wider hobby community. We share knowledge, skills, and a passion for the craft, and we're always welcoming new faces who share that same enthusiasm.

The Greater Edmonton Train Show

Our flagship event is the Greater Edmonton Train Show (GETS) — one of the premier model railroad shows in Canada. Held annually, the show brings together operating layouts, dealer booths, and displays from across the country, drawing thousands of visitors each year. Every GETS is made possible by the dedicated volunteer efforts of our members, who give their time and talents to put on a show the Edmonton community looks forward to every year.
